James Carner, the Founder of Quickie Marketing, Inc. DBA eHygienics.com came from the customer relation management world employed as Account Manager at Epicor Software in the early 90’s and later the telephony sector at Lucent Technologies selling and marketing large phone switches. Armed with an understanding of Internet API’s, Microsoft Access and SQL Databases, integrated phone switches and data center knowledge, James moved from Portland, Oregon to Bend, Oregon to work for The Power Group as their Media Director. For 3 years, James was responsible for buying traffic to support The Power Group’s clientele lead demand in the early 2000’s for Pre-Paid Legal.
During those years, James built a contact database of hundreds of bulk email marketers before the age of Affiliate marketing. Understanding that the industry needed to be in contact with each other, James resigned from The Power Group and started Quickie Marketing, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in the buying and selling of email marketing databases. James created a newsletter called The Viral Spiral, which was an instant hit and grew to over 150,000 subscribers with the help of ClickBooth (IntegraClick) who was their sponsor.
The newsletter helped James understand email marketing and also gave him the tools he needed to send bulk email. Lead generation was in high demand and James took it upon himself to learn how to build unique and appealing WordPress websites, HTML Creatives via Photoshop and real time lead delivery form pages. Because of the volume of email being deployed and the strict antispam policies that were enforced by spam fighters, many roadblocks pursued and email list hygiene was in short demand.
In 2009, James started scrubbing databases for industry friends. The demand became so great that Quickie Marketing, Inc. (newsletter and lead generation) became eHygienics.com (professional email list hygiene) full time to respond to the need for cleaning databases. Their desktop software metamorphosed into a custom made SQL Enterprise real time environment for email validation and verification scrubbing at 10 million records an hour for each client.
What separates eHygienics from their competition is accuracy and intelligence. James has spent 4 years investigating spam advisories and litigators, which offers the full confidence in their unique reporting. No other hygiene company separates their entire list and names each email what type of threat they are. This transparency has changed the industry and forced it to be honest with their processes.
